and 6pm (Show B)
Are the two shows different?
Yes! Show A is Combo through Ballet 4. Show B is Beginner Pointe through Advanced Pointe and Adult Ballet. Advanced classes and

Where can I buy tickets?
A link will be sent out the morning of May 12th. Tickets will not be sold

desktop version!
When are the dress rehearsals?
Dress rehearsal is on Thursday, June 12th and Friday, June 13th at the
Van Nostrand Theatre. See the attached schedule.
Do the younger dancers need to stay for the whole dress
rehearsal?
No. Younger dancers will be released after they rehearse their dance.
Parents may sit in the audience while they are waiting. (See rehearsal
schedule)
Is the dress rehearsal mandatory?
Yes. If a student is not present at dress rehearsal they will not be
allowed to perform.
During the show can my child leave when they are done
performing?
No. All children must stay for the entirety of the performance. All
students will be released once the show has ended.
Where do I drop my child off for dress rehearsal and show day?
The Van Nostrand Theatre is located inside the Sagtikos Arts and
Sciences Center. You will enter through the doors on the right side of
the building right past the loading dock. Your child will then be taken to
their dressing room.
How should my child’s hair be done for dress rehearsal and the
show?
Each child’s hair should be in a neat bun unless told otherwise by their
teacher. Make sure to use lots of hairspray and a hair net around the
bun.
What is the placement for my child’s headpiece?
It should be placed to the right of the bun unless the teacher desires
something else. Be sure to use plenty of bobby pins to ensure it doesn’t
fall out.
Will there be helpers backstage to make sure my child is dressed
and ready to go on stage?
Yes!
Where should I pick up my child after the performance?
The children will be brought out in the hallway to the left of the lobby.
We will need to make sure a parent/guardian is present in order to let
them leave.
Will tickets be available at the door?
No. Tickets will be available online only up until the show begins. Once
the show starts you will not be able to purchase any tickets.
Can I record my child’s dance with my phone or other camera
during the show?
There is a zero tolerance policy when it comes to the audience
personally recording the show. Both shows will be professionally
recorded and sent out to all families in the weeks following the show.
Can my child wear jewelry during the dress rehearsal/show?
The only jewelry allowed is small diamond stud earrings. All other
jewelry must be removed before going on stage. Also, please make
sure your child is not wearing any nail polish.
What makeup should my child have on?
Our younger dancers should have blush, light eye shadow, mascara
and a bold lip
Our older dancers should have a full face of stage makeup (foundation,
contour, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, false eyelashes and a bold lip)
